Dictation and Translation (Russian-Hindi-Russian) Competition in November

in Collaboration with

Moscow State University, Russia

&

Russian-Indian Friendship Society “Disha” in Russia

 

	For Students at ISAA, MSU, Russia	For Students at CRS, JNU, India
Dictation	20 words in Hindi Duration: 15 minutes	20 words in Russian Duration: 15 minutes
Translation	Hindi to Russian (~200 words) Duration: 45 minutes	Russian to Hindi (~200 words) Duration: 45 minutes
Guidelines	Words of dictation will be read by Indian native from Delhi for 3 times live through SKYPE	Words of dictation will be read by Russian native from Moscow for 3 times live through SKYPE
	Students will get a text in Hindi to be translated into Russian. (Students may bring their own dictionary) No Mobile phones are allowed.	Students will get a text in Russian to be translated into Hindi. (Students may bring their own dictionary) No Mobile phones are allowed.
	The text for translation will be from mass media, newspapers on contemporary topic.
	The MSU and JNU will nominate two teachers as jury for evaluation & invigilation
	The students/classroom will be connected through video conference.
Evaluation	Translation will be evaluated by the jury and the result will be announced on the same day jointly through SKYPE.
Prizes	There will be three prizes for MSU & JNU students as per the merit.
