Advisory for Indian nationals/students for COVID-19

 

All Indian nationals including students in Russia are advised to remain in their place of stay, observe safe health practices as advised by Russian authorities, including washing of hands and social distancing.

 

2. International travel to India has been from suspended from 0530 hours IST (Indian Standard Time) of 22 March until 0530 hrs (IST) of 29 March 2020. This will be regularly reviewed by the Government of India. Please follow regular updates.

 

3. All Indian students studying in Russian educational institutions and universities may please remain in contact with university authorities and follow their guidance. Russian universities have assured that Indian students will be allowed to continue to stay in their respective hostels and have assured that these remain functional. Indian students are also advised to follow safe health practices as advised by Russian authorities and local medical authorities including washing of hands, social distancing.
