RUSSIAN MILITARY CADET DELEGATION TAKES PART IN REPUBLIC DAY CAMP 2020 AT NEW DELHI

Under the Youth Exchange Programme between Republic of India and Russian Federation, a delegation from Moscow Cadet Corps comprising of 10 Cadets and two instructors proceeded to India on 14 January 2020 to take part in the Republic Day Camp 2020 being held at New Delhi, according to an Indian Embassy release.

As part of the programme the Russian Cadet delegation interacted with the Honorable Defence Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh and the Chief Of Army Staff. The delegation was shown a glimpse of Indian culture when they visited Jaipur and Agra and visited many places of historical importance, including the Taj Mahal. The delegation also visited the National War Memorial and the National Museum.

The Russian delegation will be meeting the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on 24 January 2020 and will be witnessing the Republic Day Parade on 26 January 2020. They will also meet the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind and attend a reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

 

The young boys and girls will participate in the NCC Republic Day Parade which will be reviewed by the Prime Minister on 28 January 2020? the Indian embassy release said.
